MSNMONEY.COM article shut down Money Camp Website

by | Jun 6, 2006

On Tuesday, May 9, msnmoney.com published an article about Money Camp (with a cute photo to boot) and there were so many people on our website that our host shut it down because we were causing their whole system to malfunction! We think that’s a good thing! Anyway, after more than 200 emails and 50 phone calls, we’ve overwhelmed with the response from people all over the US. It only continues to reaffirm that we’re doing the right thing. Financial literacy for kids is a huge issue right now and we love that we’re not only making a difference, one kid at a time, but also inspiring others to join us in the pursuit of a more financially educated and responsible citizenship.

We have two teacher training camps coming up so if you’re so inspired, come become a certified Money Camp Coach and host your own camps next summer or throughout the year. It’s a great cause and our goal is to have Money Camps all the over Us by 2010 so we need you. OK, back to those emails…
