Think ‘Think and Grow Rich’ for Kids

Rocks to Riches is Think & Grow Rich for Kids

By Elisabeth Donati & Jan Ruskin

Rocks to Riches

A Kids’ Financial Adventure Novel based on Think & Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. Ages. 7-12

Rocks to Riches was an idea I had after I reread Napoleon Hill’s book, Think and Grow Rich, for probably the 4th time. Every time I read his book, I’m reinspired and because every time we reread a book we see it with new eyes, I learn more and see things on even deeper levels.

I decided to write Think & Grow Rich for kids and talked to my assistant, Jan Ruskin, about helping me write the book. She was in! We knew kids wouldn’t be interested in that title and don’t read self-help books! We DID, however, know that they like adventures.

We figured out how to share the pearls of wisdom from each chapter of the original adult book and the idea of someone finding rocks with inscriptions on them emerged. The rest of the story is history.

Kids and their parents love this book. It’s about life and success and what’s really important to most of us…family!

The sweetest part about writing the book was all of the proofing and rewriting we did. We each read the book cover to cover a dozen times and each and every time we found that we teared up in the same places, laughed in the same places, felt our hearts touched in the same places. We knew we had created something special.
We hope your kids love it as much as we do.

In their first collaboration of fiction, Elisabeth Donati and Jan Ruskin captured the sweetness and innocence of a time gone by and have brought it into a modern-day story with meaning and value.

Rocks to Riches artfully weaves timeless success principles into a story of family, friendship, and the human quest to help others. The story is an artful combination of The Secret and Think and Grow Rich woven into a story that will surely delight kids and adults alike!

Rocks to Riches outlines the stepping stones to wealth in a story that is not only enjoyable but meaningful as well. Kids and adults alike will love this story about family, friendship and finance! Well done! ~ John T (parent)
