Fear of the Unknown Can Paralyze You from New Opportunity

It has been proven time and time again that most people do not like change and they will go to any means to make sure their life remains in a state of isolation. There is a mystical state of fear for most when it comes to anything adversely, or perceived adversity, to their preconditioned state of mind.

If their job is keeping them in a cruise control state, even if it’s in the midst of the worst road construction and destruction ever, they will most likely continue on that known path and status quo.

If someone is in a marriage that is unfulfilled and completely out of harmony with their core values, most will stay in that channel of “comfortable in their own misery” until the circumstances get so bad they have then sacrificed a good portion of who they are to please the other party.

The Question is…WHY?

There is a real underlying factor and pandemic state in our society right now that stems from our lack of trust in the governmental and socioeconomic system and it has caused many domino effects in our decision making processes.

We are programmed through the media, TV, newspapers and Hollywood hit movies that fear, mistrust in someone or some organization is the norm and we must submit to the fear and isolate ourselves and hope a bailout of some sort is coming. This has caused an epidemic shadow on the light of the human spirit. We have somehow come to the conclusion that if we lose our jobs we will lose all security and hope for the future in terms of providing for our families. Most never think of the possibilities of other ways and means of wealth creation; only the misapplied and manipulated big governmental constraints that are bestowed upon us.

The JOB mentality often kills the human spirit with incongruent messages to the brain of self mastery, self introspection, self awareness and self conclusions. The idea that someone other than ourselves can control our time, destiny and overall future plans is totally antipodal to the human spirit.

This country was built upon principles of Free Enterprise networking and exchange for value systems whereby the main mode of inclusion was the relationships and communication amongst the people within a self functional paradigm. In short, the people within a society were responsible for self exchange and wealth creation by bartering and exchanging resources, value sets and strength of actions from all involved for a common goal. Government was only involved to the extent in business commerce to provide a check and balance amongst the states and the people trading within the municipalities.

Right now, with our financial collapse in full bloom and no end in sight, it is the perfect time for the American Spirit of Free Enterprise to awaken again. We are surrounded by certain and systematic opportunities everyday for us to take advantage of.

The Internet has provided a complete set of new rules and paradigms whereby information travels so fast and with such a force that we can leverage and harness that power to help individuals and organizations find their purpose again. Networking in Free Enterprise and network marketing has provided the antithesis to the JOB (J.ust O.ver B.roke) scarcities and minimalist ideal. The Internet has provided a playground for play makers and a business model for serious entrepreneurs to start their own home businesses and begin their new life journey of personal empowerment.

We have been so manipulated into thinking that we must go to school, get a good job, buy a house (our largest asset, WRONG) and live the life of a credit card debt just to keep up with the Jones’s mentality, that we have lost the vision of how true wealth is created and mastered in Free Enterprise. Leveraging the internet and the internet searches for home businesses will allow us to tap into systems and processes that are built for automation, duplication and branding on the internet.

There are some very simple steps you can take to start a small and recapture that buried inner spirit we all have for self-mastery and self-creation. We were all born with a specific purpose and talent, but unfortunately our jobs do not allow it to come out.

You may not realize it but there is one thing we all have in common.

Which of these scenarios feels better…depositing your paycheck into a checking account every week after a grueling 5 days at the office, or helping a little old lady in need as she drops her groceries in the store?

It’s obvious, right? Helping people is how we are built; it’s internal and it’s how we regain our power to succeed.

You see, it’s all about helping someone else achieve their goals and dreams by helping them, coaching them and guiding them with your skill set. We all have these skill sets and this is what unleashes the power of leverage on the internet.

The second most common search on the internet, right behind travel, is done by people wanting to start their own home-based business. WHY? Well, if they haven’t lost their jobs already, they are being challenged by that little voice in their heads that says, “Why do I keep coming here when it’s killing me inside and out and I’m making very little money?”

And here is the issue to keep in mind…people don’t necessarily want money; they want the freedom that money can provide.

Think about it. Do people really work to pile their money in a bank account for no reason at all? NO, they want to create a lifestyle that gives them the freedoms that our forefathers meant for us when they created Free Enterprise System.

The secret is this…just like the Gold Rush, where the spirit became the driving force to wealth creation and exchange for value, the internet is the new force for wealth creation and exchange for value and it’s ready to be mined right now!

The 3 types of people and the role they play in our future

When times get tough we tend to forget what makes the world go around. Financial collapse, big government control and collectivism, bailouts and an overall mood of apathy towards life is the recipe for disaster if we don’t wake up soon.

A simple truth and ideology is that it’s not government or collectivism that is the backbone of our society and it’s creations, but people, with their thoughts, ideas and creativity that drive our economy in good times and in bad. We must WAKE UP soon and realize there is not and never has been any “magic pill” that can change us back to a free republic now that the cartel based money manipulators have stolen the power and control, for now?

There are three types of people that we must dissect and discern with their actions and beliefs if we are to devise a plan of action moving forward in this paradigmatic shift in our society. You see, the inception of our government was built by the people and for the people not for government rule over the people. It was built on a check and balance system whereby no one person or entity created by the people could get too big in scope and coterie as to avoid greed, corruption and ultimate tyranny.

Thomas Jefferson believed we must create a system whereby even the scoundrels can exist. In short, if the methods and practices and the roles of government are defined and implemented with a force and affect for the goodness of all man to create his or her own destiny, individualism will prevail over collectivism.

GROUP #1: DON’T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AND DON’T CARE

The first group of people are without a doubt the most problematic and dangerous to our recovery. This is the “don’t know what just happened and don’t care” conglomerate. They are comprised of couch potatoes, complainers of the status quo, existing in the life of reality TV and have the overall presence of a lawn chair.

These people succumb to the heat and force of the socioeconomic collapse and believe a bailout for their existence is eminent with a wait and see attitude. Their number one source of information and intellect is their local newspaper of which we all know is nothing but sensationalism and printed garbage to keep us in a mental state of fear. These people do not comprehend subject matter outside of their little circle of influences. Their main concerns are Obama’s next speech on the state of our economy (oh there’s a newsflash), health care reform (yah that will be solved soon), how their neighbors afforded that new RV sitting next door, and what on earth they will do for dinner?

We could literally go from socialism to a complete martial law with a militia police rule and they would ask, “I wonder how this will affect us and our property tax?”

GROUP #2: THE HERD

The second assemblage, while important in the sheer numbers they embody, are still a major thorn in the side of restoration projects of constitutional and free enterprise individualism. They are the avatar of the “herd mentality”, the followers to the degree to which they breathe. Their idea of an original thought is to use their DVR to record “The biggest loser” so they can watch “Dancing with the Stars” instead.

We have to give them credit, they usually have a clue as to what is happening, but just don’t know why it’s happening or what caused it. They will always tune into the state of the union address, purchase the latest I Pod or buy a bigger motor home just to show up Bernie and Ethel across the street. They are your typical keeping up with the Jones’s mentality to keep step with perceived social status. They do however provide a crucial component to society and that is the ability to follow a movement so long as they do not have to sacrifice any self introspection or originality.

Once they have done their individual due diligence to a new concept and are comfortable with the change agents methodologies they can provide the substance and brawn to carry out direct orders. For instance, if a group or organization comprised of innovative leaders began a movement to the masses to change a political ideal within their municipality they would certainly march to the same drum, stuff letters to their congressmen or watch a march on city hall on the television. You have got to solute that exuberance. Thanks to all who herd.

GROUP #3: BETTER TO ASK FOR FORGIVENESS THAN PERMISSION

The third and most eccentric collection are the “better to ask for forgiveness than permission” wolverines. Their idea of reality TV is to create their own lynch mob and take out all forms of tyranny and “vote off” all forms of governmental collectivists.

When they wake up in the morning, the first thing they turn on is not their TV but their laptop to see if anyone joined their “get me out of this madness” Face book group. This aggregation just has the mentality of organizing and implementing new concepts that will truly free the people and get us back to principles of free enterprise, exchange for value, tangible monetary policy backed by gold and silver, abolishment of the Federal Reserve System and an overall sense of free spirited network marketers to take advantage of internet commerce as the new gold rush that it is. They believe a JOB (J.ust O.ver B.roke) should be abolished and coaching and mentorship should prevail in free enterprise wealth creation in network marketing.

All the wealth is already in existence it’s just in the methodology that we have put us into a debt based society. They know we have the power to change and regain our civil liberties and they are willing to do whatever it takes to be heard but not herd?

In order to survive and thrive in this new shift in our economy and intense isolationism bestowed upon on us by the cartel based manipulators, we must ban together and create more of the third group or we are in trouble. Oh and here is a little secret that may help us all no matter which group we fall into, whether they admit it or not, posse’s #1 and #2 are always aspiring to be in platoon #3. We can make it happen if we are willing to treat everyone equally to coach, educate and mentor them in a free society.

Appreciation over the long haul or consistent cash every month

Often times when we get ourselves into a financial rut, and I’m talking about the entire country, it’s because things change but we don’t. I’m finding that the information we have been exposed to in terms of saving and investing strategies isn’t necessarily the information that is going to serve us TODAY.

One distinct difference between classic financial literacy programs and our Camp Millionaire program is that we teach kids two different investing strategies.

The first is the classic ACCUMULATION model of investing, which I call the “invest and hope method”. You invest and invest and INVEST over a long period of time and HOPE that there’s enough to retire on.

The second, and perhaps more palatable, model is to create consistent monthly cash flow by utilizing the money you have, learning some easy-to-learn stock investment strategies and gradually increasing your cash flow to the point where you can live on it sooner than “hope” pans out! I first learned this model as ‘Utilization’ but I’ve coined the word ‘Creativization’ which refers to the UTILIZATION of our natural born CREATIVITY to create the lives we want to live now, not in 40 years.

There’s nothing wrong with the first model, and it is important to continue to save and invest as long as you’re able to do so. The question is (and stick with me here), “How will you do the investing and how quickly can you use the cash flow from those investing strategies to live on and use so you can increase your cash flow for now and for your future?”

There are many answers to that question and what it really comes down to is this: you’re going to have to learn to DO IT YOURSELF.

I know what you’re thinking, “But I don’t have time to learn and it’s complicated.” No, it doesn’t take much time and no, it’s not complicated. Seriously. In one 30-minute coaching session with Tyrone Jackson (see above), I learned all about Covered Calls and will be able to make my first little bit of cash flow tomorrow morning. I’m so excited about learning this that I can’t even tell you.

Many of us have given over our financial futures to trusted financial advisors, planners or stock brokers but the only person who REALLY cares about your future is you. YOU need to be in charge of your OWN financial matters which is likely to include learning about investing in real estate, the stock market, and business.

There is nothing worse than feeling like someone else is in charge of your future. There is nothing more empowering than knowing you are in control of your future. Bottom line, to be 100% in control of your life, you must be willing to be 100% responsible for it.

What percentage of control are you willing to be responsible for?

Just something to think about…

Personal Information Safety Tips

Attorney Advice…No Charge

NOTE: This is GREAT information!

A corporate attorney sent the following out to the employees in his company.

1. The next time you order checks have only your initials (instead of first name) and last name put on them. If someone takes your checkbook, they will not know if you sign your checks with just your initials or your first name, but your bank will know how you sign your checks.

2. Do not sign the back of your credit cards. Instead, put “PHOTO ID REQUIRED.”

3. When you are writing checks to pay on your credit card accounts, DO NOT put the complete account number on the “For” line. Instead, just put the last four numbers. The credit card company knows the rest of the number, and anyone who might be handling your check as it passes through all the check-processing channels will not have access to it.

4. Put your work phone # on your checks instead of your home phone. If you have a PO Box, use that instead of your home address. If you do not have a PO Box, use your work address. Never have your SS# printed on your checks, (DUH!). You can add it if it is necessary. However, if you have it printed, anyone can get it.

5. Place the contents of your wallet on a photocopy machine. Do both sides of each license, credit card, etc. You will know what you had in your wallet and all of the account numbers and phone numbers to call and cancel. Keep the photocopy in a safe place. Also carry a photocopy of your passport when traveling either here or abroad. We have all heard horror stories about fraud that is committed on us in stealing a name, address, Social Security number, credit cards.

6. When you check out of a hotel that uses cards for keys (and they all seem to do that now), do not turn the “keys” in! . Take them with you and destroy them. Those little cards have on them all of the information you gave the hotel, including address and credit card numbers and expiration dates. Someone with a card reader, or employee of the hotel, can access all that information with no problem whatsoever. Good one!!!!!

Unfortunately, as an attorney, I have first hand knowledge because my wallet was stolen last month. Within a week, the thieve(s) ordered an expensive monthly cell phone package, applied for a VISA credit card, had a credit line approved to buy a Gateway computer and received a PIN number from DMV to change my driving record information online. Here is some critical information to limit the damage in case this happens to you or someone you know:

1. We have been told we should cancel our credit cards immediately. The key is having the toll free numbers and your card numbers handy so you know whom to call. Keep those where you c an find them.

2. File a police report immediately in the jurisdiction where your credit cards, etc., were stolen. This proves to credit providers you were diligent, and this is a first step toward an investigation (if there ever is one). However, here is what is perhaps most important of all (I never even thought to do this.)

3. Call the three national credit reporting organizations immediately to place a fraud alert on your name and Social Security number. I had never heard of doing that until advised by a bank that called to tell me an application for credit was made over the Internet in my name. The alert means any company that checks your credit knows your information was stolen, and they have to contact you by phone to authorize new credit. By the time I was advised to do this, almost two weeks after the theft, all the damage had been done. There are records of all the credit checks initiated by the thieves’ purchases, none of which I knew about before placing the alert. Since then, no additional damage has been done, and the thieves threw my wallet away this weekend (someone turned it in). It seems to have stopped them dead in their tracks.

Now, here are the numbers you always need to contact about your wallet and contents being stolen:
1.) Equifax: 1-800-525-6285
2.) Experian (formerly TRW): 1-888-397-3742
3.) TransUnion: 1-800-680-7289
4.) Social Security Administration (fraud line): 1-800-269-0271

Financial Thought Patterns

People who do great things don’t sit around wondering what can go wrong; they sit around imagining all of the things that can go right!

And people who have created a lot of wealth in their lives and do a lot of good for others have done so because they have done precisely that…imagined all of the things that could go right.

When we’re first exposed to the power of our minds to ‘choose’ what they think about, we often don’t want to admit it. We say things like…

“But I can’t help it!”
“I can’t stop thinking about…”
“My mind just wanders.”
“I just can’t keep myself from thinking about…”

Yet the fact is, we CAN control our thoughts; it’s just that before we can, we must become aware of them.

This means we have to take time to notice what you’re thinking…and when you DO notice your thoughts, what kind of thoughts are they?

To find out, simply ask yourself these questions:

• Are my thoughts positive or negative in nature?
• Are my thoughts optimistic or pessimistic in nature?
• Am I thinking about the past, the present or the future?
• Am I creating my life or pretending to be a victim in some way?

Yes, noticing your thoughts takes practice because, for some reason, human beings have such a hard time accepting the idea that WE are at the root cause of all things life-related. And yet, when we do, we are all powerful in creating the exact life we wish to live.

Once you get good at being aware of your thoughts, you’ll start to notice that you have certain thought ‘patterns’ that replicate themselves day in and day out. It’s these thought patterns that must be changed in order to change our lives. After all, even if you don’t want to admit it, we ARE what we think about most of the time.

Have you ever noticed that there is one thought that comes into your mind over and over again that then leads to the same additional thoughts that then leads you to the exact same conclusion or idea every single time? We often refer to this as a ‘chain of thought’ because one thought leads to the next and so on.

For example, it would be like thinking about getting yourself a scooter to ride around town on in order to save money on gas and ending up deciding you should get a Harley! The initial thought leads to another thoughts which eventually leads you to the exact same end thought.

What are some of your thought patterns? Take time today, and every day, to follow your thoughts. Then make a decision: would you rather continue following them or would you prefer to decide where to take them and make them follow you.

To a Life of Passion and Beyond

Imagine that it was commonplace for children to be exposed to a myriad of career opportunities relating to each new discovery of something interesting? Imagine growing up in a culture where we naturally make money doing something we really love?

Imagine a teenager enrolling in Finding Your Genius 101 where an entire year is spent discovering their true talents? Then enrolling in Working Your Genius 202 (or Your Genius Working for You:-) where they are given options about how to use those talents to make money as an adult?

Imagine millions of adults loving what they do each day instead of dreading their j.o.b.s, where the thing they look forward to the most is Hump Day and TGIF?

In the past few decades, more and more people have considered the concept of actually enjoying what they do to make a living: to put a roof over their heads and food on the table. Today, this idea of fulfilling a mission or self-purpose is driving one of the biggest industries in the U.S. ~ personal development. We’ve all seen the ads for the following seminars:

“Make Money Doing What You Love”
“Passion and Profits”
“Loving What You Do”
“Do What You Love The Money Will Follow”
“The Money Follows Your Passion”

On and on it goes. People are drawn by the thousands to seminars, books, classes, speakers and online programs because they are sick of what they are doing, working day after miserable day knowing in their guts that there has to be a better way.

So, what if we started empowering our kids with this ‘better way’ and prevented them from falling into the TGIF habit of numbing their misery at the end of each work week? And, what if YOU were the one doing the empowering?

Hold on to that question as I take you back in time.

In the beginning, there was a cave. A place to get out of the weather, protect that which you claimed as yours: children, cooking implements, weapons, dried meats, herbs, and probably a whole lot more.

With each rising sun came a brand new day of hunting, cooking, eating, caring for the ‘gang’ which often meant keeping them from being eaten and just plain surviving.

At least this is the vision I conjure up when I think about my cave-dwelling ancestors. Each person had ‘a job’ to do. It was either gender based (hunting, killing, protecting for most men or cooking, cleaning, child-tending for most women) or based on one’s natural talents (healing, herb, weapon crafting, bowl weaving, carving).

There were no paychecks per se, simply the right to be part of the whole, which would then, in turn, provide and protect your well-being as a member of that whole.

As time went by, society became more mobile and people more independent. We created teepees, tents, lean-tos, cabins, castles with moats, mobile homes (in case you decide you like your house but not your neighbors) and finally, the ultimate mobile dwelling, the motor home where you just hitch up your portable house and live where ever you wish.

Things were good. Only one problem: as the ability to move about the planet became easier, the ability to keep doing our ‘jobs’ became a wee-bit more challenging.

Since we were no longer part of ‘the gang’ we often had to take on work simply because we needed the money. After all, basic survival (cave or no cave) generally dictates that food be somewhere in the picture.

As we became more and more mobile, we also became more and more specialized in what we did for a living. Somewhere in there, someone decided we should choose what we want to ‘be’ when we grow up. Once we got that figured out (if we ever did), we simply go to college to learn how to ‘be’ that thing, graduate, get a job, work until we can hopefully retire (also made up) and there we had it: A life well done.

YUK!

Antidote: the idea that work can be an expression of our passion or this thing we’ve labeled ‘our purpose for living.’ Now that we’ve convinced ourselves, or had the outside world convince us, that we can actually be happy each day, living our dreams, fulfilling our purpose, using our passion and natural talents, filling a void of some sort, making the world, and people’s experience of it, a better place, where do we go to figure it all out?

Where do we turn to:

“Make Money Doing What We Love?”
“Turn our Passion into Profits?”
“Love What We Do?”
“Do What We Love and Have the Money Follow?”
“Have Money Follow Our Passion?”

Well, that is the proverbial $64,000,000 question.

The answer? A few more questions!

What is my natural genius?

Howard Garner, who wrote Multiple Intelligences, understood long time ago that everyone had a genius. He labeled them spatial-visual, linguistic, interpersonal, musical, naturalist, bodily-kinesthetic, intrapersonal, and logical-mathematical. Problem is, we’re not routinely tested for all of these geniuses in school so we grow up thinking we are dumb, not talented, or worse.

What are the things I love to do?

Think about the activities you do where you lose track of time, forget to drink water or go to the bathroom; activities where you are so absorbed you lose yourself in them. These are the things you’ll first want to explore in terms of creating a life where work won’t seem like ‘work’ at all!

What are my talents?

In other words, what are you really good at? What could you become an expert at? What would you love to be paid to learn?

What would give me a sense of purpose?

What would cause you to jump out of bed each morning, excited to see what the day had in store for you? What are ways you would like to help others or help your community, or the planet?

When we’ve answered these questions, we can begin to explore our natural genius, the things we love to do, our talents and our purpose (and, by the way, there isn’t just one) and turn these into making not just a living, but a LIFE.

Now, let’s go back to empowering children to find that ‘better’ way.

That class they need, along with Finding Your Genius 101 and Working Your Genius 202 is Financial Literacy for Life, an ongoing course of study ideally beginning somewhere around the 5th grade (but available for everyone at any time.)

In addition to encouraging children to grow into their natural genius, to do more of what they love to do (aside from texting all day!), helping them to develop their emerging talents and identify passion and purpose, financial intelligence gives them the tools to live in the world successfully.

Imagine the difference this would make in each child’s life, in their future, in their choices, in their results, in their families, and in their relationships.

Imagine that YOU were responsible for making this happen for every child you possibly could?

Imagine using YOUR natural genius, those things YOU love to do, YOUR talents and expertise, YOUR purpose(s) in order to make a difference in someone’s life, young or not so young? It would be “personal development” at its finest.

Financial literacy for kids and adults. It’s our genius, our reason for getting up in the morning ~ quite simply, what we love to do here at Creative Wealth!

If it’s yours, come join us in living a life with passion, and beyond. If it’s something else, we completely support you on your quest to never work another day in your life as well.
